Further details have emerged on plans to redevelop a former warehouse on Liverpool’s Duke Street into a bowling alley.
Acting on behalf of D2 Investments Ltd, HOW Planning was behind the application which secured approval last month.
The company has now confirmed that the site will be called PINS and is set to open in late 2018.
The site will serve a street food-inspired menu, a ten-pin bowling experience, private VIP bowling, shuffleboards and interactive experiences.
Daniel Gillbanks, director at D2, said: “Recently, there’s been a cultural shift in how people choose to spend their recreational time. Increasingly, people are searching for more fulfilling experiences and activities to do at the weekend, rather than simply going to the pub.
“We’re proud to create a new venue that will bring 45 new job opportunities into the city while contributing to Liverpool’s increasingly diverse cultural offering, catering for all ages and interests.”
